There are many types of dogs, some cute while others are scary. Dogs are loyal, humble and protective of their owners And can feel their emotions as well. They make their owners feel better in cute and unique ways. Some dogs can also be like bears and lions. The type which looks like a bear and lion mixture is called the chow dog

Let’s get to know about these cute furry chow dogs.

BASICS OF CHOWS

They are one of the most ancient breeds of dogs. The hairs on their mouth and chin give them the looks of a lion while their eyes and nose look like a bear ( A cute one for sure ).

They are one of the fluffiest dogs of all. They usually have colours like cream, crimson, black, brown and red. Their height can be 17 to 20 inches. While they can age from 9 to 15

They are not the best with children as they can get aggressive easily. They should be trained politely and not with strict manners. The owner of a chow should be patient with them. They have double fluffy coats. The weight of a male Chow chow can be 40 to 70 pounds while a female can weigh from 30 to 60 pounds. They have 44 teeth, unlike other breeds which have 42. The colour of their tongues is pink at an early age but turns blue-black when they get older.

Coping with a chow dog

Chow dogs don’t need much attention or cuddles like other dogs. They are generally strong and can fight if trained. Their owner should not be a child as they tend to be aggressive sometimes and can bite in situations which trigger danger. They are independent and aloof. They are ideal in a situation of being left for some time as it doesn’t affect them as much as other dogs. If a chow bites your hand don’t react quickly, or aggressively they will bite more harshly if the person tries to make them leave their hand, numb your hand until they leave it themselves and stop playing for almost 3 to 4 seconds.

NATURE OF CHOW CHOWS

Chow chow dogs are the cleanest. They have instincts of hunting and hauling if their moments are restricted. They are not the best with children. The victims of their bites are mostly children as they can’t bear any rough actions and tend to bite the person in an act of defence who offended them. Their quickness and instincts are similar to a cat. They are good with strangers unless they don’t sense danger. They are usually allergic to things like pollen, shampoo, perfumes, and grains. Chow chows are not good swimmers and can act stubborn at times. Chows chows are claimed to be the laziest dogs of all breeds in America

The food of dogs is a sensitive thing as it can affect them badly as every dog has different allergies from which they can be affected badly. PERSONAL THOUGHTS ABOUT CHOW CHOWS

Chows are one of the fluffiest dogs. I had never liked any species of dogs other than the Pomeranian but the moment I lent my eyes to this I fell in love dearly. They are more convenient as they can be left alone for a little time. I can easily call them the happy balls as they can lift your mood pretty quick.
